Edward and I just came home from a hunting trip, our eyes now a scoorching butterscotch color opposed to coal dark. We walked hand in hand to the living room, finding our daughter fast asleep on the white couch. Her legs and arms were sprawled out, her mouth hanging open as soft breathing sounds escaped from her.
